| Disability refers to the specific consequences for the individual of a health condition including: *Impairment: any loss or abnormality of psychological, physiological or physical function *Disability: any restriction or lack of ability to perform an activity in the manner *Handicap: a disadvantage or limit for a given individual, result from an impairment or disability | |

| It is the program in the workplace designed to facilitate the employment of persons with disabilities through a coordinated effort and taking into account individual needs, work environment, enterprise needs and legal responsibilities. | |
| 5. | What is an Employee Assistance Program? |
| It's a program to offer assistance to employees in accessing and resolving their work, health and life issues such as various psychological and social issues, substance abuse, grief counseling, etc. | |
| 6. | What is Occupational Health and Safety? |
| It's a separate program in the workplace to reduce the occurrence and impact of disabling accidents, injuries, and illness for employees. | |
| 7. | What does an Occupational Therapist do? |
| Occupational Therapist works primarily with people who's lives have been disrupted by illness, disability, addictions, the effects of aging, or social disadvantages. They refers to groups of activities and tasks of everyday life, and guide everyday practice. | |

| 9. | What is Vocational Rehabilitation? |
| It's a process which enables disabled persons to secure, retain and advance in suitable employment and thereby furthers their integration or reintegration into society. | |
| 10. | Functional Capacity Evaluation/Functional Assessment |
| It's a process of measuring an individual's ability to dependably sustain performance in response to broadly defined work demands. It may involve observation and controlled tests with specially designated equipment or job-related tools and supplies. |
